Transforming emotions into art through dynamic brushstrokes.
Meet Andy
I am one-of-a-kind. I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and raised in Ventura County, California by my parents Gerald and Linda. I grew up surfing the strand, riding skateboards, and trying to stay out of trouble for the most part. I was, and probably still am what people would refer to as a "daydreamer". By the age of seventeen I had visited all of the forty-eight Continental United States, all of the Canadian provinces, as well as the Great Northwest Territories thanks to family road trips once a year. Of course, we had taken in what our friends south-of-the-border had to offer as well. We had visited places where others would dare or dream to trek and take in all of the beauty and history our country and the unknown offered a young man. I have travelled the world and the seven seas courtesy of the United States Marine Corps, which I was a proud member of for eight years. through all of the good times and to what some would refer to as sometimes, the bad. I fell in love with art at an early age, a trait inherited from my father, who was an avid and talented artist. A trait I still carry with me today. I found myself around the end of 2012 nestled in the hills of East Tennessee among the history and culture of a proud people, which I can claim to be a resident thereof today.
Meet Cristy
I am a lifelong resident of Rogersville, Tennessee. My parents, Thomas and Martha, married really young, and by the time that my mom was 19 years old, she had three babies. Life was not easy for me and my brothers, and most of the time, it seemed there was barely enough to go around in the way of material possessions such as the latest toys or gadgets. Some of my earliest memories consist of my mom either taking us to church, singing, or sitting on the couch with me and my brothers as she would draw cartoon characters or her dream house. At a young age, I had three constants in my life: God, music, and art, and those three constants have NEVER changed. My life has been transformed in many different areas, and though I have faced a few battles, I am determined to let those battles make me better NOT bitter, in every aspect of my life.
My art style is characterized by fluid lines and a sense of movement. I love to experiment with different techniques to create pieces that are unique and expressive. This piece is dear to me as it helped me cope during a grieving stage in my life.
